All room rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to an 8% state sales tax and a 3% county tax. By law, we are not allowed more than 2 persons per room.
Registered guests are welcome to check in between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm but we understand that often, events happen that are beyond our control. If you need to check in outside of the normal hours, please contact us before you arrive for specific instructions. We do not guarantee the accommodation of earlier or later check in times without prior notice.
Please be considerate of the next guest. Check out is by 11 AM.
Cancellation Policy for up to 2 rooms booked:
Changes or Cancellations (not including holiday weekends) received more than 14 days before your arrival date are subject to the following cancellation fees, per room:
$35.00 for up to two nights booked;
$45.00 for 3-5 nights booked;
$55.00 for 6 or more nights booked.
If your change/cancellation is received 14 days or less of your arrival date, the entire reservation minus sales tax (including gift certificates which were applied) is non-refundable. We are happy to refund your reservation if we can successfully re-book your stay to another guest, minus the applicable cancellation fee.
Cancellation Policy for Holiday Weekends: Cancellations received more than 14 days of your arrival for Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day Weekend and 4th of July-if occurring on a weekend, are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation minus sales tax. If cancelled 14 days or less of your arrival date, your reservation is non-refundable, minus sales tax.
Cancellation Policy For Group Reservations: For group reservations involving 3 rooms or more, a cancellation of any room more than 14 days of arrival is subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total reservation per room cancelled minus sales tax. If cancelled 14 days or less of your arrival date, your reservation is non-refundable minus sales tax.
Breakfast menus are prepared in advance but with prior notice, we generally can accommodate most food allergies. Please notify us at the time you make your reservation of any food allergies or dietary restrictions including vegetarian diets. Specialty diets such as dairy or egg free or vegan may result in an extra charge of $3.00 per guest per day.
For everyone's safety, and for liability reasons, only registered guests of the Fox and Grapes are permitted on the property. Guests are not permitted to entertain their friends or family members who are not staying at the Fox and The Grapes, indoors or outdoors.
The Fox and Grapes is an adult oriented property with few facilities geared towards children. As such, we cannot allow guests under the age of 18 years.
The Fox and Grapes is not able to offer your pets accommodations at this time but can recommend several boarding facilities nearby.
The Fox and Grapes has a resident dog, Guinness. He is not allowed on the 2nd floor or in guest rooms but does have run of the first floor and most of the property. Please use caution when entering the driveway.
Coolers are not allowed inside guest rooms or common areas. A refrigerator is available to you should you need to keep small items cold.
We are a Non-Smoking facility but guests who do smoke, are asked to do so outdoors away from porches, decks and windows.
Please come and go as you choose but the Fox and Grapes does enforce quiet hours that begin at 11:00 PM inside or outside. Please be considerate of other guests, neighbors and the innkeepers.
Rooms are inspected after guest check out. Damages to bedding, carpeting, flooring, or missing items will be billed to your card on file.
We do not accept packages or mail on behalf of our guests. In the event you have packages sent here before your date of arrival, a $10 per day storage fee will be charged to your room, and we do not accept responsibility or liability for those packages.
We reserve the right to refuse service to guests who ignore our policies.
Rates and promotions are not guaranteed and are subject to change or end at any time. Rate changes do not affect reservations already confirmed.
GIFT CERTIFICATES Fox and Grapes Gift Certificates are Good for one year from time of purchase. Credit balances on gift certificates will remain until the date of expiration. Only 1 gift certificate may be used toward any 1 reservation. Gift Certificates cannot be used on existing reservations.
